PV Combiner Boxes for Solar Arrays
TOMZN supplies pre-assembled photovoltaic combiner boxes that gather multiple PV strings into a smaller number of outputs before the inverter. Each box arrives wired and tested, with string fuses, a photovoltaic DC surge protective device and a DC load-break isolator already fitted, so the installer only terminates the incoming strings and the outgoing feed.
Enclosures are rated IP65 for outdoor mounting, and string counts are available to suit both small rooftop systems and larger ground-mount arrays. Because the DC side of a PV system does not have a natural current zero, every component inside is selected for DC duty rather than adapted from AC parts.
Building a combiner box on site from separate components takes longer and is harder to inspect. A factory-assembled box shortens commissioning and gives a consistent build across a project.
