Automatic and Manual Transfer Switches
TOMZN builds dual-power changeover switches for sites that run on more than one supply. Automatic transfer switches (ATS) sense loss of the primary supply and change over to the standby source without operator intervention; manual transfer switches (MTS) give the same isolation and interlocking under operator control at a lower cost.
Typical applications are mains-to-generator changeover, mains-to-solar or mains-to-inverter changeover in hybrid PV installations, and backup supply for telecom and small commercial sites. Pole configurations from 2P to 4P are available to suit single-phase and three-phase distribution, and WiFi-enabled models allow the changeover state to be monitored remotely.
Mechanical and electrical interlocking prevents the two sources from being connected together. All units mount on standard 35mm DIN rail.
