Surge Protective Devices for AC and Solar Systems
TOMZN manufactures Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 surge protective devices for low-voltage distribution. AC models protect consumer units, distribution boards and sensitive equipment against lightning-induced and switching transients.
Photovoltaic DC models are built specifically for solar strings, where the non-zero-crossing DC arc makes a general-purpose AC SPD unsafe to use.
Most models use a plug-in replaceable module: when a varistor reaches end of life the status window turns from green to red and the module is swapped without disconnecting the enclosure wiring. This keeps maintenance time low on installed systems. Replacement cartridges are stocked as separate line items.
Products are CE and CB certified. TOMZN has manufactured low-voltage protection devices since 2002 and currently exports to more than 50 countries. OEM and ODM are supported.
